New Mexico's future will be shaped by its economic, public safety, healthcare, education, and quality of life. The Journal's scorecards bring together key public data to show where the state is progressing, where it is falling behind and how these challenges intersect.

One scorecard will be published each month, followed by a statewide assessment ahead of the 2027 legislative session giving residents and policymakers a clear baseline for the decisions ahead.
